I think I have fancy snails here on the hill. Each time I plant basil or coriander it lasts two day, at the most. A couple of days after it's in the ground it's been eaten off at ground level. How wonderful to catch up with your blog....and to have experienced much that you have written about over the Christmas New Year....the heat, the cold, the hail, the wine, the food, the storm on NY"s Eve, and of course Piedemontes within walking distance of my daughter's home in N Fitzroy. We spent hours there, looking, whitedovenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6058446.post-23101677900186358002010-01-21T13:06:25.333+11:002010-01-21T13:06:25.333+11:00can I just tell you how eagerly I await those lazy...can I just tell you how eagerly I await those lazy hazy days? Those peak days? Those 3 ingredients makes it shine with some wine days? On my oh, I don't know 7th straight weekend of snow and sleet. Only local produce is rock hard and living in a root cellar. Working so hard to not braise myself to an early death.
*sigh*
Thanks for that little breath of the promise to come.johttp://amusebouche.orgnoreply@blogger.com
