How to make gravy. 

Item on supermarket shelf: Continental Bangers and Mash (recipe base).

Instructions: Just add sausages and potatoes.

I was thinking "roux of butter and flour" but your answer... well... it's disturbing. The more I steer away from instant foods, the more they horrify me when I run into them.

Julie, butter and flour replaced by assorted colours and flavours. (Having said that, I am partial to a little Gravox every now and then.)
