I heard the news this morning as I drove to an appointment. I was listening to a radio talk show, and the "bumpers" signaling commercial time were all Bachrach songs... until the female half of the talk duo rebelled and then we got mindless club music bumpers for the rest of the show. Sigh. He was a great songwriter and a megastar in his time, but none of the younger generation I checked with today had ever heard of him.
